Sadly we have had to cease swimming at Harthill until the planned works are completed on the dam wall. It's expected that we could be closed until summer 2024. We will update any changes in status as we receive them.
Since 2012 over 1800 people have swum with us at YOS
Ranging from Team GB athletes to leisure swimmers and families. Our winter swimmers have won medals at international ice swimming events including the British and European championships.

Newcomers are always welcome at YOS and our regular members are happy to swim along with you to make you feel at ease on your first swim. Swimming outdoors is exhilarating and there are many claims of health benefits. If you haven’t tried it yet we have introductory sessions available to help you get started.
All swimmers at YOS must apply for our free membership before swimming.
