End of Summer Splash, 1st October 2016

As the summer season comes to a close and many YOS members are already planning their Winter training and Ice Mile attempts it is time to celebrate and this year we are proud to announce the first YOS End of Season Splash.

There will be races to enter, wetsuits to try and buy from Blueseventy and TFN, pizza from the Sunshine Pizza Oven as well as a members swim session and end of season prizes to be awarded.

1pm – Open for registration

1.30pm – Under 16s 250m Race (enter here)

2.00pm – 1/2 Mile Race (enter here)

2.30pm – 1 Mile Race (enter here)

3.30pm – Inflatables Relay Race (enter here)

4.30pm – Members Swim (1 hour session)

5.45pm – Awards Ceremony

6pm – Close.

(exact times are subject to change depending on volume of entrants and availability of volunteers)

Helping Out / Volunteering

We will need lots of volunteers to help out on the day in the usual roles as well as general helpers and race timers.  If you are able to help please add your name to the rota here or email events@yorkshireoutdoorswimmers.com and let us know what time and where you can help.
As well as the Pizza it would be great if members could bring cake and other goodies for the galley.
