In April 2017, Yorkshire Outdoor Swimmers will be three years old.  The club has grown immensely since those first sessions and nearly 1400 people having swum with us at Harthill since. We’ve been privileged to host the world’s youngest ice miler, 16 year old Hazel Killingbeck, the world’s first butterfly ice miler, Pauline Barker and the fabulous lady with the most Ice Miles in the world, our own YOS champion Wendy Figures.  As well as the hundreds of swims and the many events we have held at Harthill, our members have represented YOS competing in swimming events all over the world and we are very proud of everyone’s achievements.

We would love you to join us to celebrate all 3 years of YOS at our Spring Splash event which will be held on Saturday 15th April (Easter Weekend).

There will be 4 races: 250m, 500m, 1k and back by popular demand the inflatables 20m relay.

Robin Hood watersports will be bringing lots of new wetsuits and kit for you to try.  They will also be bringing some kayaks and paddleboards and offering exclusive discounts for YOS members.

Food will be available for donations and the bar and galley will be open so bring your friends and family along to support you too.

There will also be a raffle drawn on the day with excellent prizes from YOS partners including Blueseventy.

To enter a race you will need to be a YOS member.  Race fees are paid in advance through this website to secure your place but please remember you will still need to pay your £4 swim fee or £10 joining fee in cash on the day when you sign in for your swim.
