Deepest Sadness
August 26, 2023 9:58 pmIt’s is with deepest sadness that we wish to inform all our members that we have received tragic news today that our one and only Naomi has passed away early this morning. Naomi suffered a stroke last week, she has been supported by her family and partner whilst in the hospital. Naomi was a true inspiration and a genuine member of Yorkshire Outdoor Swimmers if she wasn’t swimming was encouraging people in the water then she was happily serving them tea and cake. Naomi helped lots of people achieve their open water success from Ice miles to channel preparation. She was a regular at The Great North swim and everyone knew her. Our condolences go out to her children Daniel and Rachel and her partner John. We are all feeling the loss.
